Physical therapy is a service that develops, maintains and restores people’s maximum movement and functional ability. Common conditions that are treated include muscle strains and sprains, repetitive use trauma and a variety of orthopedic conditions.

You can self-refer to Physical Therapy without a referral.
You can be referred to Physical Therapy by an ISD Employee Health Clinic provider.
You can bring an outside referral to receive Physical Therapy at the ISD Employee Health Clinic.
Note: If you have a referral from an outside provider, you will be asked to fax your referral prior to your appointment or bring it with you to your first visit.
Physical therapy services at the ISD Employee Health Clinic are available to the following individuals:
Personal Health
Employees, pre-Medicare retirees, dependents, and Medical COBRA participants enrolled in the District’s medical insurance plan who are eligible to use the ISD Employee Health Clinic, over the age of 10.
Worker’s Compensation
School District employees, regardless of plan enrollment, are eligible for physical therapy services if referred by a ISD Employee Health Clinic provider for a work-related injury.
Danielle received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Mary in 2015 and has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics since. Danielle has additional training as a Therapeutic Pain Specialist and is certified in dry needling treatment.
Outside of rehabilitation, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family, playing games, rooting for Kansas City sports, and being outdoors.
