Is your medication eligible?
First, check if your current medication(s) are available through the Home Delivery Medication Program. Click here to view the list.
Step 1: Schedule an appointment
Book an appointment with an ISD Employee Health Clinic provider at least 3 weeks before you need a refill to allow enough time for delivery.
Step 2: Meet with provider
Bring a list of your current medications, including those prescribed by outside community providers. (The ISD Employee Health Clinic will already have a record of any medications they've prescribed for you).
Let the provider know that you are interested in moving your refills to the Home Delivery Medication Program.
The ISD Employee Health Clinic provider will review your medications to ensure they align with your clinical needs and that this program is appropriate for your treatment plan. They will collaborate with you and if necessary, any external providers.
If the program is a good fit, the provider will prescribe the needed refills. After this, you'll only need to return when your refills run out or your health needs change.
Setting up your home delivery account:
If approved, the provider will send your prescription to be delivered to your home.
For the first home delivery, after the provider sends the medication you'll need to set up an account on the SavRx portal to confirm your mailing address. This only takes a few minutes, and the ISD Employee Health Clinic will assist you at the end of your appointment.
Step 3: Medication delivery and refills
After you receive your first medication through home delivery, your authorized number of refills will be shipped to you automatically.
When you receive your last refill:
SavRx will send you an email notification at the time of your last refill.
As soon as you receive this notification, call to schedule an appointment with your ISD Employee Health Clinic provider. Doing this promptly will help avoid any disruptions to your medication supply.
